Moon Magic
My night-owl kicked in and I was always last to bed. Mike would watch TV and I ended my night out on the balcony. I just couldn't get enough of the warmth and sounds of the surf. THEN the moon made an appearance and I was a gonner. Like the sunsets, the moon also held me under its spell. Too bad it wasn't full, but we did see a 1/4 moon change while we were here. It just captivated me and kept me awake much longer than I should have been. I was also up to see each sunrise. I don't want to waste a minute. I'd even step out for a visual refresher if I had to get up during the night. I wasn't disappointed. Our physical days were pretty balanced so I never felt tired. It's not like we were climbing mountains or doing ziplines lol Again, I have to thank my good friend in Australia, Colleen, for gifting me with a more than decent old camera of hers that took some fantastic night shots.
